Kai, and His Minor Inconveniences - Tween Problems

When my brother-in-law made the wise decision to transform his teenage doubts in trippy-indie songs, I was happy to help him out. In the spring of 2020 we recorded these songs in our home at the time. Kai had a very clear vision in mind about how he wanted the songs to sound. A sign of strong musicianship. My goal mainly was to make this technically possible and most of all, not get in the way. Which I believe is very important as a producer. He surprised me with all these crazy sound- and mix suggestions; it made the production very interesting and playful and I’m thankful for all the out-of-the-box thinking lessons I picked up while making this hidden gem.
